This was not a place for me as I broke down and was crying due to the crying and trapped pigeons. The ones that were trapped were crying so if you can ignore these sites and sounds, maybe this place is for you. It was heartbreaking to see these birds wanting to get out from the nets and seeing other pigeons feeding the ones under the net. The waitress also said there are openings for the pigeons to get out but I guess their are some with bird brain and unable to find their way out. It must be typical protocol for the hotel to pick up the dead ones when there are no restaurant guests per the waitress.

There was a dead pigeon on the other side of our neighboring table. The waitress didnt seem to be concerned as it was the hotels (La Casa del Camino) responsibility. There are trapped pigeons under your feet (deck boards) at the Rooftop Lounge and they have nets trapping them in on the outside portions of the deck. AND, the location really cannot be beat for the reasonable pricing! But, perhaps the feature that will win your heart at this hotel is the rooftop bar.brunch on Sundays is beyond wonderful.the views are probably the best in Laguna, and the atmosphere is lively and iendly staff, great, fresh food/appetizers.etc. They will do their best to accommodate you in any way! They clearly love welcoming guests and caring for their needs.
